VP Compliance – AIFM – US Investment Firm

Our client is a market-leading US Investment Firm with over €100 Billion AUM. They are experiencing year-on-year growth and have already established a stable team of 20+ staff in Luxembourg.

As they expand they are now looking to hire a new VP of Compliance to join the team!

Responsibilities:

• Work with different information stakeholders of the AIFM, the Group and service suppliers to

obtain data necessary for the performance of Compliance related tasks;

• Monitoring and review of AML/CFT working papers and quarterly reports;

• Regular tracking, monitoring and review of internal and external regulatory ad-hoc requested

compliance documentation/reports;

• Review and monitoring of reports to be performed towards the CSSF or AED in relation to

AML/CFT or any other report in the scope of the Compliance function;

• Tracking up-coming new regulations and assisting transfer into new policies and new

procedures;

• Assistance in the review of existing policies and procedures;

• Maintenance of the Compliance support tool;

• Ensuring Internal Compliance reporting to comply with Audit and CSSF requirements;

• Assistance in the set-up of new AIFs, if needed;

• Assistance in the annual training on AML/CFT of the AIFM staff and AIFs board of managers;

• Assistance in the review of potential escalation cases by the Administrator or the Depositary

that would require a formal Compliance review;

• Participation in potential upcoming compliance projects;

• Perform a variety of other functions/ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Conducting Officer to

aid in the department’s/company’s achievement of goals and business objectives.

• Promote the highest ethical standards required of staff and ensure staff meet the group’s compliance requirements and the relevant regulatory rules in Luxembourg.

• Implement and enforce Group Compliance strategy in Luxembourg

Requirements:

• Experience in a Management Company/Financial Service Firm within the Alternative Investment Field

• 5+ years of experience
