Senior Sales Manager – Alternative Investments

Job Description

 

As part of the Client Solutions team, the Senior Sales Manager is responsible for marketing the Firm’s full range of products and services to a defined set of institutional and semi-professional investors. He or she will also closely cooperate with Client Solution Individuals in covering targets and existing clients, in particular in more complex situations.

       

  • Establishing new and covering existing client relationships with a focus on Germany for the entire offering spectrum of the business 
  • Assume co-coverage with the firm’s seniors in more complex situations  
  • Assume Championship Role for at least one offering: Together with the Product Owner and the Firm’s seniors, define the offering, and the marketing approach and support the preparation of the necessary marketing material. Ensure that clear concise messages are conveyed  
  • Familiarizing with product and legal /regulatory/accounting & tax knowledge and experience, be it in client meetings or in preparations thereof, which all help to get client mandates  
  • Professional deal execution  
  • Continuous client relationship together with the Client Service Team  
  • Cooperation with relationship partners and the Client Service Team in preparation of account reviews with clients  
  • Managing the creation, update and send out client proposals  
  • Ensure client records and databases are up to date and accurate (eg. in Salesforce); lead or co-lead DDQ- and RfP-situations  
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, help document client lists and to-dos including follow-ups
  • Initiate and support in organizing marketing & sales events (i.e. sales or marketing roadshows, seminars, webinars and other client-related events)  
  • Undertake special marketing & sales projects as required  
  • Support in keeping marketing material up to date   

 

Your Profile:

 

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Sales to Institutional or Semi-Institutional Investors required   
  • Fluency in Business German and English required   
  • Experience in one of our Business Segments – Absolute Return; Private Markets, Infrastructure (Equity and Debt), Real Estate (especially Debt) or other Private Debt – is a plus 
  • Established relationships with at least two groups of institutional investors (eg. Banks, Pension funds, Insurance companies, Corporates and others) a strong plus   
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
