Senior Property Accountant – Real Estate Investor – Luxembourg

Position Summary 

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage the general accounting for a portfolio of real estate assets in Germany. You take an active participation in the quarter-close/year-end process and local accounting and be responsible for overseeing aged debtors

Responsibilities 

• Participate in accounting and financial reporting processes for a portfolio of real estate investments; 
• Be actively involved in monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closing processes for assigned properties and SPVs. 
• Liaise with auditors during annual audits 
• Assist with improving operational and reporting efficiency within finance team 
• Aid in addressing more complex clients’, tenants’ or vendors’ matters 
• Monitor compliance with statutory reporting and tax reporting obligations for SPVs 
• Be actively involved in fund administrative tasks

Experience 

• 3-4 years minimum Accounting experience 
• Ideally exposed to Real Estate sector 
• Good accounting knowledge 
• Proactive team player 
• Excellent English language skills required, 
• Advanced Excel skills 
• Eager to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment
