Position: Sales Manager – Technical BD International – German contract

Introduction:

Our client is a global high tech organisation experiencing rapid growth. They are expanding their product range and services and are highly rated within technology life-changing sectors.

In order to strengthen their position on the global markets, we are searching for a Sales Manager – Technical BD International to be based either in HQ – NRW Germany or working remotely.

Ideally, we are seeking a consultative Sales Manager/ Business development expert, a strategic thinker to bring fresh solutions to existing and potential clients of the business to the table. They will ideally come from an electronic/ high technology background with a flexible working style!

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading, creating and developing customer relationship across the allocated regions
  • Gathering requirements from clients’ technical R&D Engineers and translating them into offer proposals
  • Collaborating with internal sales, R&D, product & quality teams in order to define matching solutions to the clients
  • Responsible for negotiating technical terms for customised and standardised products
  • Reporting directly to the MD while acting as a business development partner
  • Continuously improving customer experience and communicate efficiently with all stakeholders involved: clients, R&D engineers, General management, sales and marketing departments.

Candidate Profile:

  • Educated to higher education in electronics, electrical; mechanical engineering or similar
  • At least 8 years’ customer relations/ international technical business management experience
  • Good knowledge of high-tech, and electro-mechanical applications or similar
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to engage with deciding R&D clients of the business
  • Customer-oriented personality
  • Fluent English, German highly appreciated
  • Strong working record in developing customer relationship and improving clients experience
  • Enjoy working with international teams – on marketing, R&D, strategy, etc
  • Open for oversees travelling
