Location – ZurichSalary – CompetitiveOur client is a key player in the Pharmaceutical sector, they are looking for a Medical specialist/affairs manager to join their dynamic Research team. This is a hybrid role that sits within the Gastro department and is a great opportunity for an MSL wanting to join a growing company that offers real career progression!

Key Responsibilities

• Development of partnerships with investigators, opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
• Provide Scientific support to marketing teams and their programmes,
• Provide scientific information to relevant HCPs, speakers & investigators on data as appropriate.
• Identifies and tracks potential research opportunities Interact with healthcare decision makers to communicate and advance the scientific platform, as aligned with corporate goals and objectives.
• Communicate complex cutting edge technical information and research concepts to health care decision makers
• Provide clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary decision makers.
• Identify and train members of speaker’s bureau and ensure they are updated on new data.
• Act as a medical resource to the company as a whole and particularly to the Gastro research department
• To have responsibility for nominated therapeutic areas and assume overall management of the clinical trials within these areas.
• To be recognised as a company expert in the nominated therapeutic areas and provide input into global product development teams.
• To leverage relationships with external customers to ensure robust physician and patients insights are what drive successful product launches
• To lead the development and delivery of the Brand Medical Plan(s) aligned to the therapeutic area (TA) Medical Strategy
• To ensure that market insights are used to inform all product development and franchise strategy deliverable

Requirements

• Candidate must have previous experience in Gastro or Rhumatology!
• Educated to MD/PHD Level
• Fluent English and German a MUST!
• Strong networking capabilities and integration with KOLs
