Fund Oversight Officer – AIFM

Our client is the Luxembourg funds arm of a leading Insurance Group. They operate as an AIFM and have been steadily building out their team near the Luxembourg City Center.

In line with continued growth, they are looking to recruit a new Fund Oversight Officer

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio transaction process facilitation for all managed funds, monitor the portfolio activities (withholding tax and deadlines)
  • Oversee financial reporting including review of final financial statements, CAS, NAV pack from delegates
  • Supporting new policies draft where required including those that become necessary or helpful as a result of business or product development;
  • Support the Risk/Compliance function and the wider Luxembourg team in implementation of all AIFM and fund operations policy and process;
  • Assess the Operational KPIs with internal and external delegates, perform due diligence and challenge the delegates
  • Coordinate operational regulatory reporting
  • Produce operational reports for governing bodies (fund board, management company)
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment and a reduction in operational risk.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English
  • 3-5 years experience in Fund Acc/Audit
  • Knowledge of AIFM structures is advantageous
  • Degree in Finance/economics or equivalent
  • Adaptable and flexible character
  • Eager to learn
  • Able to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders
