Position:                  Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist- Consumer Goods Sector

Salary                      £40,000-£45,000 + Company benefits

Overview:

Following our client’s worldwide growth and expansion we are recruiting for a Financial Analyst to be based in the London HQ. This sole charge position is responsible for running all UK FP&A functions working very closely with the business units. You will be an experienced Analyst / Management Accountant with a passion for complex Excel spreadsheet data analysis and commercial reporting

The group are privately owned and have diverse business units in production and distribution for fast moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, alcoholic beverages…

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FP&A Specialist with c 5 years hands on experience to join a dynamic company undergoing growth!

Responsibilities Include:

•         Very hands on role working closely with the production and distribution business
•         Reporting to the UK MD
•         Full responsibility for all Financial Reporting for the UK Business Units
•         In depth analysis of current and past Sales
•         Responsible for the budget and forecasting for future business decisions
•         Creation of KPI’s working closely with Sales and Marketing departments
•         Sole charge position
•         Working closely with Accounting team who will provide data for analysis
•         Designing and implementing new spreadsheets & reports by individual items & brands
•         Creation of reports / tools for reporting
•         Work closely with all senior management to explain the reports and advise on changes
•         Support commercial and business managers regarding performance & results

Candidate Profile:

•         Ideally IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE TO START ASAP with a view to then going permanent
•         Educated to degree level in Finance, Accounting, Business related subject
•         Qualified Accountant / Part Qualified or equivalent an advantage
•         Experienced complex Excel models and spreadsheet creation-v lookups, etc
•         Minimum of 5 years specialised FP&A experience
•         Good Understanding of Reporting and Budgeting processes and requirements
•         Excellent communicator
•         Willingness to accept challenges in a rapidly changing environment
•         Very hands on person with ability to work well alone with complex data
