Business Manager – Investment Management –Renewable Investments – Germany

We are currently looking for an experienced Business Manager, Renewable Investments to join a leading global investment business. Working on some of Europe’s largest Clean Energy projects, this role will be integral to the sustained success and development of the division; 

Your responsibilities

• Support the Head of Investment Management in the strategic development and operational effectiveness of the Investment team and the Development and Construction teams
• Drive the development, articulation and implementation of strategic plans and organisational/operational projects for the investment, development and construction teams on an ongoing basis
• Coordinate plans and resources of the investment team with relevant internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational deliverables
• Identify areas for process improvement and generating innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency of the Investment Team and the relations with key stakeholders

Your qualifications 

• 4-6 years’ investment management experience, preferably with an exposure to the renewable energy industry
• Business or Law degree, ideally complimented by an MBA
• Growth-oriented, strategic and entrepreneurial thinker with a confident working style
• Proven ability to work effectively across functions in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
• Outstanding communication skills, problem-solving ability and assertiveness at various levels of the organisation; including C-level management
• Exceptional English skills paramount; additional EU languages (German / Spanish) will be looked upon favourably
