Support the Benelux, Nordic businesses and other markets in distribution activities
Provide a point of contact for management and sales teams of Benelux, Nordic and other international markets (such as the Middle East and South Africa) on all legal matters, work in partnership with marketing, product development, compliance and customer service departments, as well as working with Legal Services colleagues and advise on legal developments which may affect their business.
Support all matters relating to the distribution of funds in Benelux, Nordic and other international markets (such as the Middle East and South Africa) e.g., answering sales legal requirements, clients queries, maintaining and reviewing of legal documentation including distribution agreements, TOBs, application forms, helping to improve internal procedures and standardize agreements, drafting and negotiating distribution agreements and TOBs.
Co-ordinate production of distribution agreements, follow up of review processes, feedback on status with Sales, CRM and Finance, ensure execution and filing with Company Secretariat.
Experience and Qualifications
• Legal degree with at least 2-4 years experience in fund related environment
• Knowledge of Luxembourg fund structures and industry is essential
• Fluent in English and French. German would be an advantage
• Pro-active team player with ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
• Expected to work under supervision of the Director, European Legal Services and/or the Associate Director, European Legal Services but with an ability to quickly establish himself/herself as the contact person for all areas of business
