Position: Senior Accountant – Swiss Entities

Location: Zurich Region

Salary: 100,000 – 120,000CHF Plus Bonus

Introduction:

We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to cover Swiss entities reporting to the EMEA Controller for a Zurich based hi-tech client. Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the EMEA Controller

• Responsible for all financial reporting, accounting and overall financial management for the Swiss subsidiaries

• Manage relationships with internal and external auditors, Tax authorities and regulatory bodies - ensure appropriate cross-functional support

• Guaranteeing compliance with local (Swiss GAAP) and US GAAP reporting regulations, SOX as well as internal policies and procedures

• Provide support to budgeting and strategic planning sessions (AOP, forecasts and quarterly outlooks)

• Provide finance support to other functional areas in line with business strategy and business targets

• Completion of migration and integration activities for a new acquisition

• Perform special projects as required

Candidate Requirements:

• Educated to degree level in Finance / Accounting – Ideally Qualified (ACCA, Brevet, CPA)

• At least 5 years of financial experience

• Experience working in a fast moving international business environment

• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP and US GAAP

• Strong technical controllership skills

• Proactive personality and very strong problem solving skills

• Good IT skills (Excel and Oracle)

• Fluent in English essential

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• EU or Swiss nationals only
