Introduction:

We are currently looking for a Project Controller to take complete responsibility for large scale projects (from a finance perspective). Based in central Zurich, our client is a multinational hi-tech company and the worldwide market leader in their field. This is an outstanding opportunity to become a major part of this dynamic organisation at an early stage.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, review and control of all financials for international large scale projects

• Budgeting, costing, reporting, billing, projections, and control of expenses, (actual vs. planned) from initial stage of the proposal preparation throughout the execution and post delivery maintenance period

• Work closely with sales and marketing teams during the pricing process of international tenders

• Prepare and maintain project budget and periodic budget control reports

• Work closely with the program management offices

• Leading and managing accounting and control staff as required by project

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 10 years progressive experience in a multinational environment

• Educated to degree level in either Finance or Engineering

• Qualified Accountant (CPA/ ACCA/ SWISS…) an advantage

• At least 6 years of Finance experience in a technology or industrial environment

• Great Project Management experience including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Statement of Work (SOW) and GANTT project schedule charts

• Managing cost control and substantial budget controlling experience

• Fluent English essential, German and other European languages an advantage

• Strong IT knowledge – Excel and ERP

• Excellent communication skills

• Swiss or EU nationals / permit holders only
